Default Double XP for elite captures and double green item drop rate Weekend

Starting at Noon Pacific (-8 GMT) this Friday, players will receive double experience for capturing elite skills. Instead of gaining 250 times their level in experience, players will receive 500 times their level in experience. Players will also have double the odds of receiving green items from bosses. This bonus will last through 11:49 PM Pacific (-8 GMT) on Sunday.

Now we get .002 chance of a green.

Excellent timing!!! I've got a survivor that needs to get maxed out & a bunch of skill points & gold to waste on this.

As for the greens - who cares? Most greens are merchant fodder anyway.

No. Greens that drop from bosses only.
Edit: I guess actually what I meant was yes. Whatever.

Years ago, many Greens were prized and highly sought after. Then people complained that their rares have sucky mods and sometimes even worse mods than purples. Perfect rares were hard to find and there were no such thing as inscriptions.

It is the endless whining that caused the drop in value of Greens.

Not that I really care, as I don't need or want any greens, but I always wondered about one thing. Some of the bosses don't drop a green, but have one named after them. Since the greens only come from the dungeon chest, there is no double chance to get them, but there should be. That, or allow the boss to actually drop the greens, and not put it in the chest.... but that is more work than is worth doing.

The extra XP doesn't matter to most people, as they are usually already level 20. Only people working on Survivor care about the XP, unless they are low on skill points and this will help them gain enough points to keep capping for the title.
